Henrietta Lacks Traveling Museum Coming to Âé¶¹´«Ã½
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will host a one-day, pop-up museum that combines history and science while posing questions about medical breakthroughs and patient consent. The Henrietta Lacks Traveling Museum will be open to the public on Tuesday, April 5, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Library.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Announces New Degree in Fire Science
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Fire Science degree will be available beginning Fall 2022. The two-year program prepares students with essential, hands-on firefighting education and training and includes additional courses in Emergency Medical Services.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will again provide a full-tuition Presidential Scholarship to one graduating senior from a home school within its service area. Presidential Scholarships are offered for full tuition and mandatory fees for four consecutive semesters.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ has announced a new expedited healthcare program that allows students to earn three professional certifications in less than five months. Certifications include Clinical Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician.
